LazosLearning is a Canadian-based, non-profit organization established in 2006 dedicated to helping individuals and organizations contribute to positive social development. Drawing on proven educational materials, we offer interactive training that emphasizes the importance of a sound understanding of principles and concepts that guide social action. We help participants, both individuals and organizations, reflect on questions about the purpose and effectiveness of their efforts – reflection that contributes to more consistent and effective action to address real-world challenges. In a broad sense, LazosLearning is concerned with the promotion of learning that focusses on efforts to advance spiritual and material civilization.
Underlying this work has been an ongoing effort to learn about the use of communication technology to engage participants in the rigorous study of educational material that has been developed cognizant of the spiritual nature of the human being and that seeks to nurture understanding and raise capacity for effective social action.
In addition to using materials that have been successfully employed in the field of social development, we draw on a network of capable and experienced tutors to facilitate thoughtful study in a manner that encourages reflection on action for the purpose of refining its effectiveness and promotes sharing of insight.
LazosLearning collaborates with experienced institutions that have created materials which have been successfully employed in the field of social development. Presently, we are collaborating with the Colombia-based Foundation for the Application and Teaching of the Sciences (FUNDAEC). More information can be found by following the link below.
